Four Steps To A 70% Converting Squeeze Page

Happy Monday!! Here we are at the dawn of a whole new week and I’m back in the office after a few days away.

I’ve decided that I wanted to begin my day and begin my week by making a video for you. I’ve planned to make this video for what seems like an eternity, and finally got round to it. We all know that the money is in the list, and in this video I’m going to take you on a little tour of my squeeze page and tell you exactly WHY it’s been achieving a 70%+ opt-in rate!!!

Enjoy… (and don’t forget to comment!)
Speak soon!

    Hi Marc

Thank you you sharing your knowledge with us.

I’m one of those that like simple down to earth squeeze pages.

When I started to learn how to build web pages the right way I discussed with other fellow students about having or not having own pictures there. We concluded that a personal picture increases the credibility of the content. So I agree with you in that.

The most important thing for me in order to give my email is that
    - this is something very interesting for me
    - that it’s very clear what you are offering to me and
    - I can trust you

    Great video, keep going strong

  2. Hi Marc

Great video but you’ve got me thinking….

I’ve just paid a decent sum of money to have 20 squeeze pages made and now I’m worried :)

Seriously though, some great points in there especially the bit about verifying the price of a paid product. Great little tip – I like it!!

    Keep at it mate

    Hey Marc,

Great vid here mate & congrats on the 70% opt in rate!!!

I know exactly what you mean when you say you wanted to get round to doing it for ‘what seemed like an eternity’ :-)

I’m testing out a bunch of different squeeze pages right now – including some ‘fancy pants’ ones ;-) – and you’ve definitely given me some food for thought with regards to different elements to add in/take out for the next round of split testing!

Thanks for taking the time to make this.

    Marc

    Great vid there mate.

Simplicity is the key and as long as you can demonstrate the benefits of the product and it is easy to read then that is the key.

I am thinking of using a universal header with my photo in it such as ‘Peter Davies Presents’ followed by the text to serve as personal branding as much as anything else. In the same way that you are posting your photo at the bottom I guess.

I have a slight issue with only collecting names as future email marketing campaigns are likely to become impersonal.

    Take care

Really good video, thanks. I’m new to the MWA community and my new blog is gradually taking shape.

I have a couple of questions. How/where would you promote your squeeze page? Is there a simple and free method to build one? Perhaps consider a future video post to elaborate on these issues for newbies.

Many thanks for your informative blog.
    Cheers,

    Hey everyone,

I just wanted to give you a slight update to all of this and mention the new thing that I’ve found really helps (and is technically almost law, I believe)…

You should definitely include a link to a full ‘Privacy Policy’ somewhere at the bottom of the page. This helps to give people even further confidence that you aren’t just some kinda con-man.

Just do some Google research to find out what your Privacy Policy should contain and put one together on another page of your server.

Helps to boost those conversions, I’ve found! :)

P.S. My good buddy James Francis has just released an awesome new course teaching all about the art of Web Design For Internet Marketers… and how to build high converting squeeze pages and sales pages.

I have it, and it’s well worth checking out:
